A descriptive survey design with closed ended questionnaire was used for the study. Simple random sampling was used to select 50% of the study population of 292 from Nkawie Senior Technical High School and Toase Senior High School for the study. The study found among others that teachers in the study area have had some form of training since they joined the teaching profession. Increased moral of teachers, improved right use of teaching and learning materials are some of the effects of teachers’ professional training. Unhealthy management-staff relation and unfavorable working condition are some of the factors that affect effective employee performance.
